$50M for Tutoring in Michigan

Districts apply in NextSys by January 15, 2027.

Section 35p of the FY2026–27 Education Omnibus Budget (House Bill 5630) sets aside up to $50 million in one-time funding for high-impact tutoring. Michigan set aside funding so more children can get the reading help they need.
